Garden Irrigation in Notting Hill
Irrigation for Notting Hill's communal gardens, private gardens and roof terraces.
Notting Hill is famous for its communal gardens: large private gardens shared by the houses that back onto them, many of them laid out in the nineteenth century. Keeping these lawns, borders and mature trees healthy through London's increasingly dry summers is exactly the kind of work Irrigarden specialises in.
Irrigation for Notting Hill's communal gardens
We work with garden committees and managing agents to design systems that suit large shared lawns and borders, are reliable year after year, and are easy to manage:
- Zoned pop-up sprinklers for lawns and drip lines for borders, hedges and young trees
- Smart controllers that adjust to the weather and can be checked remotely
- Installation planned around residents, with lawns reinstated cleanly
- Clear proposals that your committee can review, and annual maintenance contracts

Private gardens and roof terraces
We also look after private gardens and terraces across Notting Hill, Ladbroke Grove and Holland Park — from family gardens with lawns and patios to roof terraces full of planters. See residential irrigation and roof terrace irrigation.
FAQ
Can a communal garden keep watering during a hosepipe ban?
It depends on the system and on the wording of your water supplier's notice. Sprinklers are covered by the Thames Water ban; fixed drip systems with a pressure-reducing valve and a timer may fall within the drip exception on non-commercial premises. Rainwater harvesting is another option. See our hosepipe ban guide and ask us to check your system.
Do you work with our existing gardeners?
Yes. Your gardening contractor keeps their routine; we take care of the irrigation system.
